Karen Leigh Hopkins is an award-winning writer, director, and producer.
She writes films about irreverent, eccentric, powerful women, of underdogs, of underworlds, of the unseen, of fierce, often misunderstood everyday heroes that try to protect us from the snake gods and serpents that slither among us.
Karen’s writing was born from her acting career, creating character-driven stories and of worlds we have yet to visit, the stories she couldn’t find at auditions,
In 2014, she founded her production company, Guilty Party Films.
